(Il y évidemment dans cette liste des incohérences ou des approximations : certains titres mieux placés dans des top 10 que des films présents ici ont disparu ; certains cinéastes sont surreprésentés - mais parce qu'on les aime on a revu plus souvent leurs films même ceux qui paraissaient plus mineurs jusqu'à les aimer beaucoup plus qu'à la première vision - c'est sans doute injuste pour d'autres films qui, s'ils avaient eu le même traitement, auraient pu figurer en bonne place ; le critère est assez simple, pas toujours les meilleurs films mais ceux qui pour une raison ou une autre nous ont occupé l'esprit, auquel on a souvent repensé et auxquels il nous arrive d'y penser encore).
